Do you have any idea how much work was put into this project? What are you getting out of giving another mans hard work for free? Are you proud knowing every download is taking a meal off the table for the artists family? These are independent artists not some major corporation with millions of dollars. It is because of people like you that this artform has suffered and the independant artist must now create separate revenue streams when they should be getting paid off recordings. I challenge you to do the right thing and take this link down. If another site has it up so be it, don’t let it be you. To whom this may concern.

And its also because of people like us that your crowd funded album was even financed. You made 90,000 on a 50,000 goal, so don’t come around here and act like independent artists cant get their shit financed.

I do understand the passion behind wanting to support local and independent artists. I personally own thousands of albums and can say that if it were not for the ability to listen to entire albums or at least a collection of tracks from an artist on something a tad more decent on the ears than my laptop I would have not purchased a large quantity of them. I hope that every time someone downloads an album such as this opening up the listening pathway for another new artist one takes it upon themselves to inherently do the right thing and purchase an album, go to a show and spread the word. The music is not dying and the idea behind “mixtapes” has been around ever since the day we have been able to make a copy of an album we like for friends/family/ soon to be loved ones.

No. The reason why this album suffers is because it sucks. There’s a reason why no labels are recruiting these douchebags. Tone deaf, boring, monotonous rhymes. Sure the Grouch has had a couple 1 hit wonders with Zion I like drop it on the one. But who the fuck is Eligh? Nigger sounds retarded on the mic. His voice is just plain shit and his beat choices are weak to garbage. If it weren’t for this being pred on 0day sites nobody would have even heard this.
